Native Instruments has officially announced the Traktor MX2, a next-generation 2-channel DJ controller designed for DJs at every level, from aspiring beginners to touring professionals. The MX2 delivers a streamlined, performance-ready layout paired with Traktor Pro 4 software, a built-in 24-bit/96kHz audio interface, and a two-month Beatport Streaming trial for new users.
This new controller aims to give DJs the power to craft professional-sounding mixes anywhere, whether at a house party, live club set, or mobile event.

The 16 RGB performance pads offer multiple modes that expand creative options for DJs:
- Hotcues: Instantly jump to key track moments or trigger drops.
- Flux Loops: Create seamless, stuttered loops that keep the rhythm in sync.
- Pattern Player: Turn pads into a step sequencer for adding hi-hats, snares, or percussion on the fly.
- Stems: Split and remix live using isolated vocals, drums, bass, and instrument tracks.
