Just when you thought headphones couldn’t get more chic, audio and swimwear companies team up to present the super sexy Sony Auria collab.

Using upcycled pieces from old headphone wires (about 113 meters to be exact), swim suit company Auria took a waste not, want not approach to celebrating Sony’s new h.ear headphones, which are wireless noise-cancelling over-ear headphones.

Speaking on their collaboration with Sony, Auria’s designer, Dina Auria – who has created pieces for Rihanna – said, “The opportunity to partner with sony on such an innovative project was amazing.  I am a long term champion of sustainable fashion, and the headphone wires have been a great material to upcycle and design with. they have made really fun, colourful and durable travel products.”

Their swimwear collection consists of bright colored accessories to coordinate with each color way of the Sony h.ear colorways. Auria designed lime yellow passport covers, viridian blue cellphone cases, charcoal black beach sandals, bordeaux pink sunglasses cases, and cinnabar red beach bags. Each item is woven out of flat wires and completed with an aux jack – just in case.

“We have created a travel capsule collection to complement their new range (and also complement our swimwear!),” their social media team writes via Facebook.

Alberto Ayala, Director of Video & Sound product marketing at Sony Europe, added: “Your headphones are an extension of you – like your phone and keys, they go with you everywhere. So h.ear on Wireless NC headphones have been designed to be a part of your life.”
