Last year Swedish audio company unveiled their sleek and minimal on-ear headphones called the u-JAYS to great reviews. The stylish cans have returned in a cable-free design, u-JAYS wireless.

This is the first Bluetooth headphone from Swedish audio engineer Jays AB. As photos reveal, the wireless make, like that of its wired counterpart, is crafted with emphasis on quality and attention to detail. The company says the hands-free model complements the much appreciated qualities of its predecessor with wireless freedom – we sure hope so.
u-JAYS Wireless connects to your smart device using Bluetooth technology and provides a full 25 plus hours of music playback. The on-ear headphones also feature touch controls for a seamless hands-free listening experience. The touch area allows users to tap the cup to cue their music as well as swipe controls to navigate through their favorite songs. An added bonus is a lock feature which will secure the swipe controls and keep you from accidentally toggling back and forth between your music.
Speaking on the new wireless model CEO Rune Torbjörnsen said, “The market is transforming and wireless was the natural next step for us. We are happy to present u-JAYS Wireless and believe that we have created an outstanding wireless experience, and look forward to see the customer response.”
u-JAYS Wireless are currently in pre-production. The headphones are said to hit the market before the end of the year and will be available in the same colorways as the wired u-JAYS (in black or white and silver or gold). They will cost $179 USD.
