Look & Feel

There’s nothing particularly special about the construction of the Tune Pro, but it’s a fair build for the price. The design is sleek, but standard for low-budget wireless headphones. They’re compact and foldable, making them easy to travel with. Listening to them for many hours, I never thought the Tune Pro was fatiguing in any way. The fit was snug, and the earpads felt very comfortable throughout my listening sessions.

Design & Functionality

The Tune Pro utilizes dual dynamic drivers that are 40mm and 10mm. Both drivers use LCP polymer diaphragms, with the 40mm unit coated in a PET film. With this dual design, the output of the sound is quite substantial compared to other Bluetooth headphones that can be considered underpowered in comparison. The Tune Pro gives you efficient gain while supplying you with ample headroom. Hybrid noise-canceling tech also helps with that by offering an effective level of isolation for the price.

In terms of functionality, the Tune Pro uses physical buttons for playback. It’s a simple and responsive way to interact with music and settings through your headphones. EarFun also has its headphone companion app, which offers a ton of interesting settings like its numerous EQ presets, sound personalization, and theater mode.

Bluetooth

The Tune Pro uses Bluetooth 5.4 for almost lightning-quick pairing, high range, and wireless stability. It also features a multipoint connection that allows you to connect the Tune Pro to multiple devices. You won’t see any high-end Bluetooth CODECs like LDAC or aptX, but for less than a hundred dollars, that’s more than acceptable.

Battery Life

This is another budget Bluetooth headphone with a massive battery life. The Tune Pro has 120 hours of battery life with ANC off and 80 hours with ANC on.

Soundstage

For the price, the Tune Pro offers an admirably wide soundstage with good spatial imaging. The left and right channels are separated well, giving identity to the stereo field. Bluetooth headphones around this price typically give you a condensed sound field. Still, thankfully, the Tune Pro strays away from being quite linear, and the imaging is generally accurate enough to localize individual instruments to a specific space in the mix.

Low End

You can adjust the bass with EQ, but for the most part, the Tune Pro is pretty subdued with its tone. Using the 3 bass boost presets offers marginal thickness, but the lows remain neutral in timbre. They have just enough presence not to be considered underpowered, but those looking for more substantial power from the lows might be disappointed. I still appreciated the subtle weight the bass provided, as it still supplied the necessary shape to notes without it feeling like a lot was missing.

Mids

Unlike a lot of Bluetooth headphones, the Tune Pro doesn’t scoop out the midrange to leave room for the most consumable texture possible. The Tune Pro makes room for instruments and vocals, but also gives them a solid body outside of the low-mids and upper-mids. Guitars have life to them, pushed forward and occupying tons of space for a full midrange response.

Highs

The treble has good balance in the mix, with a surface level of high-frequency detail that makes a difference. Cymbals have a nice splash to them, with the top end ringing out into a sizzle that characterizes the highs nicely. There are clear barriers to how far the highs can ring out, but this will come as good news to those who get put off by brightness.

Summary

For under $100, the EarFun Tune Pro Bluetooth headphones offer more than just great value; they deliver a solid audio experience that rivals more expensive models. With an expansive battery life, strong Bluetooth performance, effective hybrid noise canceling, and customizable EQ settings through the EarFun app, the Tune Pro stands out as one of the best affordable wireless headphones on the market. While bass lovers might crave a bit more low-end punch, the balanced mids and detailed highs make these headphones a great pick for general listening across genres. If you’re looking for budget Bluetooth headphones with great battery life and comfort, the Tune Pro deserves a serious listen.
