Recently, Apple completely pulled all of its third-party audio products from their store shelves. Up until now, you used to be able to purchase headphones and speakers from brands like Sonos, and Bose at any apple store online or in person. It was only a couple weeks ago now that Apple has removed those brands from their stock, and now Apple has just announced a special event that you can watch online on October 13th, 2020 at 10:00 am PT (1:00 pm ET).
With this news, could Apple be finally revealing their own over-ear headphones that they’ve been speculated to be in the development of for months? It’s looking more likely now, but we’ll have to wait and see what Apple has to say on their October 13th event. The prospect of an Apple studio headphone has been speculated for years since their purchase of Beats back in 2014.
For now, MajorHiFi will be keeping its eye out for more details on Apple’s potential new headphones.
