KANOA Truly Wireless Earbuds

KANOA Truly Wireless Earbuds

We are definitely in the dawn of a wireless age, especially pertaining to earphones. In yet another rendition of “truly wireless” earbuds, meet KANOA.

KANOA Truly Wireless Earbuds

These earbuds were created much like many of the other utterly wire-free earphones out there – to cut the cords and allow for ultimate freedom whether commuting or working out.

Each ear piece is made with durable grade materials featuring a water resistant exterior. The frame is ergonomically designed for the ear tips to slide into the canal while the body of the earphones are able to sit comfortable in and along the grooves of the ear. KANOA ships with a variety of ear tips to make sure there is a fit for everyone, including three different sized Comply foam ear tips. Yes! They make for a mold-able fit into your ear canal hence providing optimum sound isolation.KANOA Truly Wireless Earbuds

The makers of these buds are encouraging music-lovers to #CutTheCords with KANOA. The earbuds are independent of one another in style, but are said to operate completely in-sync with incredible low-latency sound. AptX codec allows for a superior connection between your buds and smart device. One full charge, which takes about 1.5 hours, should supply KANOA with up to 4 hours of music playback and talk time. However, the portable charging case, holds up to 5 additional charges.

When paired with the companion app, users have the ability to adjust the how much ambient noise they’d like to hear with a feature called audio transparency. This is perfect for commuting or working out in the city. It’s nice to tune out the constant hum of the subway, but I personally would like to remain aware of my surroundings. The app also tracks vitals and workout stats as well as acts as an equalizer.

Sound-wise, the earbuds are said to deliver great audio. The lead audio engineer on the product holds 15 plus years of experience working with BOSE, Plantronics, HP, and Gibson, so I’m assuming KANOA is telling the truth. Each ear piece holds hybrid-balanced armature drivers that should provide “crystal clear audio quality, fine-tuned to hit those crisp highs and deep lows for a fully immersive experience.” Nice! It should so so while resonating across a frequency response range of 20-19,000 Hertz.

KANOA is currently available for pre-order with a 47 percent discount. This means you’ll pay $159 rather than $300 for a pair of wireless earbuds. They’ll ship between October 16 – November 30, 2016.
