Poised as a flexible DJ system for events, bars, clubs, and private studios, the XDJ-ZX offers flexible media support.  At the same time, this unit utilizes a layout designed to work seamlessly with club-standard-gear.  Advanced features provide all necessary bells and whistles at your fingertips, while maintaining a high-quality sound.

The Pioneer XDJ-ZX allows for playing rekordbox-analyzed tracks from USB drives via channels 1 and 2. Or connect your laptop and use rekordbox dj or even Link Export mode.

Two extra channels further enable mixing audio from external sources like turntables, and Pro DJ Link allows users to browse tracks from CDJs.  Using the 7-inch touchscreen, the XDJ-ZX facilitates syncing those tracks with your mix.

A scheduled firmware update for early 2020 will extend compatibility to Serato DJ Pro.

Playing back-to-back also becomes easier, thanks to thee USB inputs:  two Type A inputs, and one Type B input.   But quick changeovers aren’t the only feature to look forward to.

The XDJ-ZX also includes a 3-band EQ on the master output, so the sound can be easily tuned or optimized for any performance or environment.

Two separate mic inputs also feature independent 3-band EQs, giving users additional flexibility.  And, the switch-enabled Feedback Reducer feature automatically reduces howling and other bugaboos coming through the mics.

Borrowing from the DJM-900NXS2, the new XDJ-ZX offers 14 professional Beat FX and 6 Sound Color FX modes.  Software-specific features can also be triggered using using the 16
multicolored Performance Pads.

Using the XDJ-ZX with rekordbox dj requires updating to the latest software version and activating the included license key.  And, while this all-in-one DJ system supports rekordbox dvs and Serato DVS (after early 2020), licenses for these softwares will be available separately.

The Pioneer XDJ-ZX all-in-one DJ system is currently available from Pioneer and select authorized dealers.  The uni will retail for $2799 and ships in late November/early December.
