Sporty, but still chic. The polished aesthetic and signature sound of Bang & Olufsen is nor available in their new B&O Earbuds called Beoplay H5.
New Release: B&O Earbuds Beoplay H5
Fitness buffs with a penchant for sophisticated style and sound should look no more. Beoplay H5 are new earbuds from Bang & Olufsen. The Denmark-based buds are wireless making them great for an active lifestyle. The body is comprised of a textured rubber polymer that is both water/sweat and dust resistant. The connector cable between both earbuds are fashioned after shoe laces – with a braided textile – making it more durable, easy to clean, and hopefully less likely to tangle. The face of the buds feature the brand’s staple “B&O” logo atop a polished spin hair line surface.
Beoplay H5 ships with Comply sport ear tips for a comfortable look and practical usage. The tips provided, four sets to be exact, have a moisture-resistant membrane which will keep liquid from running inside and ruining any hardware.
Each earpiece contains a magnet for easily securing the headphones around your neck when they aren’t in use. This motion also powers down the earbuds to save battery. In addition, the magnets secure the Bluetooth-based buds to a wireless charging dock. A full charge is achieved after two hours and that will keep the Beoplay H5 running for about five hours.
Equipped with an in-line mic and controller, the sport buds are also able to take calls, adjust the volume, skip back and forth between tracks, while using voice activation technology. Employing Bluetooth 4.2 technology (very up-to-date) and aptX and AAC codecs the ear buds should provide clean and clear connection and listening experience.
Beoplay H5Â uses 6.5mm drivers to reach a frequency response between 20 – 20,000 Hertz. A companion app also allows users to create their own preset profiles as well as change the tone of their music using the ToneTouch feature with the following options: Warm. Excited, Relaxed, Bright.
Beoplay H5 is available in black and dusty rose at the price point of $249 via B&O.
