Shanling Release Important Firmware Update Ahead Of M9 Launch

The wait for Shanling’s new DAP is almost over, and ahead of its upcoming release, they have rolled out a critical firmware update for its first run. Marked as V1.4, this update will add the Google Play Store to the device, which is key not only to buyers in the US but internationally as well. So if you receive the M9 and don’t see the Google Play Store, then you need to add the latest firmware which is listed on Shanling’s website here.

Not only will the Google Play Store be added with this new firmware update, but as the M9 is switching to a different system than their older players, there are some small changes to the system and UI. Additional information can also be found on Shanling’s website here.
