EarDial Transparent Ear Plugs for Music Events

When I’m not writing about tech, I am usually writing about music (or films) which means I’m often in very loud environments with large orange earplugs that don’t match my outfit sticking out of my ears – and I’m sick of it. However, there is a solution and it’s called EarDial.

I, like many others, want to protect my hearing and although I’m always down to look fashion forward I won’t sacrifice my hearing to look “cute.” But EarDial’s highly-transparent make is literally invisible. The silicone and filter are both clear which makes EarDial that perfect solution to save your hearing and your outfit.

The plugs are of a ridged cut which makes for a better and more comfortable fit than the stereotypical cylindrical foam-ish plugs. It is also smaller, which means no orange tips sticking out of your ears as you (drunkenly?) take photos with friends during your favorite song at a concert.

A high-fidelity noise filter in the center of the earplugs allows users to hear the music and chat with friends all the while protecting their precious hair cells. traditional ear plugs while decreasing the decibel level also mute some of the details in your music… and that’s no fun. A pull tab at the end of EarDial makes it seamless to remove. And if you’ve got a little wax in your ears the filter is safely protected by a safe guard.

An aluminum case equipped with an aluminum clip and storage tray are included for easy transport and storage of your plugs.

EarDial’s companion app is a nifty little tool that calibrates the decibel level of your surroundings and proceeds to tell you exactly how long you can safely wear EarDial before any damage occurs.

EarDial without a doubt a concert-goers best friend. So if that’s you and even if it’s not safety is always first. These fancy schmancy earplugs are set to launch via Kickstarter on September 21 and will ship to backers in December 2016.
