These itty-bitty buds are fashioned as your new go-to piece of tech loaded with features you will not find on many other wireless earbuds. First off, the tiny units are your new fitness buddy, as Ear-On contains a built in heart-rate monitor. That same tracker is also able to keep tabs on your temperature as well as the number of calories burned. A companion phone app records your stats and graphically detail the findings for you. In addition, if your fitness regimen includes swimming Ear-On has it handled, as the buds are able to be submerged in water and still remain functional.
That being said, these buds are built to understand simple hand gestures to perform basic functions, like simply gliding you finger over the buds to switch back and forth between tracks.
When it comes to sound quality and connection, Baheer promises Ear-On will provide clear audio on both ends thanks to wind blocking technology.
The buds ship with a portable charging case that are able to juice the buds in 30 minutes. The company hasn’t acknowledged how much talk time the buds can reach off of one charge, but they promise with additional power from the Smart Case, the buds can be powered for up to 10 hours.
Ear-On truly wireless earbuds are currently hosting a crowdfunding campaign via Kickstarter. If interested, you can get a pair for $195.
