The LCD-S20 is the first planar magnetic headphone to incorporate Audeze’s SLAM technology (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator), initially introduced in the flagship CRBN2 electrostatic headphones in 2024. SLAM enhances bass response and spatial imaging by using finely tuned acoustic channels for more linear diaphragm movement and low-end accuracy.
