New Release Ultimate Ears LIVE with New IPX Connection System

Ultimate Ears LIVE

Ultimate Ears has a few exciting launches for fans of the high-end performance IEMs. Their fresh releases include a special on-stage monitor called Ultimate Ears LIVE featuring their new (and most) durable connection, the IPX system.

New Release Ultimate Ears LIVE with New IPX Connection System

Ultimate Ears LIVE is being described as the ultimate stage performance piece. It is designed specifically at the highest standard and able to to withstand just about anything, including arenas, stadiums, and festivals. I mean, I always leave with a film of dirt on me after Coachella.

On the inside, Ultimate Ears LIVE holds one of the most complex and intricate systems. These in-ear monitors are fit with a hybrid acoustic arrangement with six balanced armature drivers, one dynamic driver, and the True Tone Plus drivers, not to be confused with Ultimate Ears’ True Tone drivers. How do they differ? The Plus models are an upgraded version with proprietary speakers that focus on the overtones and harmonics with even more sensitivity than their predecessors.

You’re probably wondering how this IEM differs from their previous premium make, the Ultimate Ears UE 18+ PRO. Well, it does so by providing their most advanced acoustic architecture to date, including the new True Tone Plus drivers.

Then there’s the addition of the new, durable IPX connection system. It is actually a cable and system built to withstand the tough and rigorous conditions of touring and live performances all the while minimizing the need for service and maintenance. To break it down, the cable and connections are sweat proof (IP67), tour proof, and handles everything musicians deal with nightly, like sweat, makeup, hairspray, humidity, set up, break down and travel.

Ultimate Ears LIVE with IPX Connection is anticipated to be available worldwide in May 2018 for $2,199 USD.
