Look & Feel
There are a few different IEMs in this price range with builds that aren’t just plastic shells, but the Odyssey II really stands out here. The shell is handcrafted and made from aluminum alloy. Its faceplate is a hand-poured resin, each one being totally unique, so no two designs are the same. This is a winning combination for a better-than-usual IEM design for the price, but what makes the Odyssey II really stand out is its size. The housing is compact, looking like something you can actually see inserted into your ear. The result of that is a comfortable fit that feels secure and natural. They hold in place, and the spout is short enough not to feel too intrusive.
Design
The Odyssey II is built around a hybrid five-driver configuration that combines one 10mm second-generation bio-cellulose dynamic driver with three Knowles balanced armature drivers.
- FREQUENCY RESPONSE RANGE: 20 Hz – 25 kHz
- IMPEDANCE: 20 ohms
- SENSITIVITY: 105 dB
- TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION (THD): 0.19%
Soundstage
In terms of scope, the Odyssey II spans widely, displaying a soundstage that cuts across the stereo field with scale. While not featuring the most non-linear spatial imaging, the soundstage pushes the sound elements forward, communicating fullness without much depth. You get a flat but focused level of accuracy as a result, as the Odyssey II has no trouble articulating layers of arrangements in a comprehensible fashion. The Odyssey is very balanced in terms of channel separation, and the space between different instruments is carved out well enough for an IEM in this price range. The level of headspace won’t completely immerse you in the sound, but the pinpoint precision and positional anchoring of specific sound elements more than make up for it.
Low End
The bass has a very satisfying drive to it, delivering low-end frequencies big and fast. Its tone is thick without being overbearing, only using its impact to drive itself deeper in the mix. While not featuring an underlying rumble in the sub-bass, the lows are placed firmly and resonate well in the mix. With its quick transient response, the Odyssey II finds a way to be large and tight with its envelope, giving off a good sense of dynamics with its punch.
Mids
With the forward propulsion of the midrange, the Odyssey II becomes one of the best options for rock, pop, and electronic music. You get such a full, rich response that handles elements like distortion with a striking level of rawness. Everything comes in with a realistic presentation, never dissolving into a gloomy smear. The mids are propped up with natural tonality and have a physical response that supplies a clear shape to each instrument. Nothing ever gets set aside, as each instrument receives the same amount of energy throughout the sound signature. If you’re focused on good vocal resposne, the Odyssey II features a very expressive response that puts them in an intimate space. At times, it can feel like the singer is directly in front of you.
Highs
The highs keep up the energy of the Odyssey II’s sound signature without feeling harsh. They extend even while not substantially increasing height, delivering a collection of frequencies that are clear and concise. It has an airy timbre with some light sparkle on cymbals and bells.

The ZiiGaat x Hangout.Audio Odyssey II proves to be more than just a visually striking IEM—it delivers a well-rounded sound signature that emphasizes impact, clarity, and musicality.
