The STREAMZ headset made their debut at CES – engaging onlookers with the promise of a cable and phone-free design that uses WiFi to play and stream music. A little over a month before the headphones are open for online sales, STREAMZ Inc. has opened a 30 day Crowdfund stock offering on Flashfunders for accredited investors. If that’s you, you’ll be happy to know the smart audio and tech market is worth $16 billion and growing at 22 percent, boasts their Flashfunders page. That being said, the headphones market is projected to make a total of $3 billion by 2020 – with the streaming-friendly headphones earning a whopping $136 million.

STREAMZ promises to deliver audiophile quality music without the hassle of a spotty Bluetooth connection and tangled wires. Through the use of hands-free voice commands users can easily queue their favorite tunes.

“Most music lovers, sportsperson, commuters and audiophiles just want to listen to their music without having to mess with their smartphone, apps, cables and Bluetooth pairing,” said the CEO and Founder Douglas Kihm. “We’ve created a solution that provides you complete freedom to instantly and easily listen to online streaming and HD quality music without a separate phone or music player,” he added.

For those looking to know the specs before investing the minimum of $5000 should know STREAMZ includes WiFi, a 1.6 GHz Quad-core Android® processor, HD music player, voice control and a color display. The box-shaped headset plays online streaming services including Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio and more without a smart device and is said to be the first wireless HD headphones that play 96 kHz/24 bit music.

STREAMZ will be available in two styles – “PRO” for those looking for an over-ear model and “GO” for those who want on-ear for $399 each. Both options can be found in either black or white. All models have an integrated 128 X 128 pixel color OLED display, two keypads, a microphone and an integrated rechargeable lithium polymer battery that runs up to 6 hours.

Interested investors have until the end of May to invest in STREAMZ – world’s first smart headphones before units go on sale in the online store June 11th.
